Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce

Aunt J's Spicy Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce
8 servings

1 pound spicy sausage (or ground beef)
1 pound regular sausage (or ground beef)
3 onions, chopped
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes, undrained
2 14.5 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 12 ounce can tomato paste
2 tablespoons dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Cook sausage, onions, mushrooms and garlic over medium heat for 10 minutes. Drain and transfer to slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on low 8 to 9 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta and enjoy!

Aunt J served this before trick or treating...and we all had seconds!

Hi Mrs. H ~
Wanted to let you know that I recieved my pedometer in the mail today! Thanks so much. "Walkin' on Sunshine" was fun and got me into the habit. But now I need to hide the pedometer ~ my Gentleman Farmer thinks he needs to wear it to work! What is a girl to do? ;~}
Thanks again,
LF
