Deep frying always makes me nervous. You are a neat lady! I love the house, all your animals and lifestyle. :-)
For our supper last night, I used skinless chicken breasts with this recipe. I love it because it is healthier, but you still get that fried chicken taste. I am sure your chicken will work just fine. If you use bone in chicken pieces instead of breasts, it'll just need to bake longer. This recipe is actually adapted from a taste of home recipe for a boiler/fryer chicken, but it doesn't specify if the skin is removed - I assume it isn't.
Here is the link to the orginal recipe - http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Crispy-Fried-Chicken-2
Please let me know if you try it out. I can just imagine how delicious it will be with your farm fresh chicken! :-)Mrs. H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08370647029648135495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5302604839054825701.post-57641775115747587002008-08-05T10:42:00.000-05:002008-08-05T10:42:00.000-05:00Mrs. H,We raise and process our own chicken. I have never made fried chicken :) I'd like to try your recipe but wasn't sure I could do it with no skin on the chicken.
KerriKerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00687244425369541788noreply@blogger.com
