Creamy Bow Tie Pasta


Creamy Bow Tie Pasta
6-8 servings

8 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup sour cream

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the oil, flour, garlic and seasonings until blended. Gradually add the milk and broth. Bring to a boil; cook and whisk for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese and sour cream. Drain pasta; toss with sauce and enjoy!
