It's a texture thing! (except, now I like your chili :)<BR/>BUT, this sounded so yummy. I just made it with chicken and turkey bacon. The bacon needs to go in first and be almost cooked before adding the chicken. It is super yummy! I have this habit of taking other people's great recipes and tweaking them.
