"The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong." ~ Laura Ingalls Wilder

Walkin' On Sunshine Day 4
Hi all you Sunshine Walkers! It's time to report your times and/or distances! Four days down, only seventeen to go! :-)
2 miles/35 minutes for me! Shoes and socks today - no blisters to report! Would love to walk outdoors but the weather has been so awful. We have had frost already and today thunder/lightening and some of the biggest hail I have ever seen around here! I walk on my treadmill, thank you. *grin* LF
Hi Sunshine Walkers! I walked for 37 minutes. I read that by just increasing my usual 30 by 5 minutes you burn 2 weight watchers points. 30 minutes is only 1 point. Maybe this will inspire you to push for that extra 5 minutes. I started using ww etools last week. I want to lose about 15-20 pounds. So far down 3!! :)
Yes...I made it today. It was 9:30 at night but I was determined to get it done. Asked Hubby to go with me since it was talk and it was nice - walking together. Walked another 3/4 mile....will need to get to a mile tomorrow to stay on track. Thanks for all the encouragement!
I missed walking Thursday-had some tenderness in my calf muscle and my doctor has told me to rest it when that happens. I deal with a muscle weakening myositis. But I plan to walk again today. Will post that later:) Have a great day- we are looking at a beautiful weather here in Wisconsin-hope it's good where you are too!
I missed Thursday too. To busy. Today I started at 3:50 P.M. and walked to the back of our sheep pasture. I got back at 4:25 P.M.. I ended up carrying my 2 year old brother with me though. I hope to start earlier tomorrow. ~Melinda AKA ~Canadian in the Country~
I thought this was such a great idea, I decided to join you. I've been walking 30 minutes a day, 2 miles, for six days. I've also done a little weight training so I'm very sore.
no miles for me today. today was my "day of rest". how did everyone else do?
ReplyDeleteOne hour behind the lawn mower (no, I am not finished yet :() I still have my front yard and my grandmothers rent house next door.
