Walkin' On Sunshine!

I'm out of the habit...
My waist line needs me to be back in the habit... ;-)
Everyone knows that anything you do for 21 days becomes a habit!

So who's with me?! Let's walk for 21 days! :-) I'll track my miles in the side bar. If you would like to walk, too, just leave a comment or post on your own blog. I have no idea how to do a "Mr. Linky" but maybe with enough interest I could learn. My 21 days will start on Monday - please let me know if you'll be walking, too! :-)

  1. I'm with you! I'll be doing the Leslie Sansone walk at home dvd's and also the Billy Blanks tae-bo dvd's on the other days. I sure hope I can stick with it, so with some others joining us for 21 days will definitely help and hopefully we'll continue to push past the first 21 days! Good luck to all!

  4. Mrs. H,

Count me in!! Although I must admit 21 days seems like a long time...especially when it refers to exercise. How far do you plan to walk each day?

Great to have encouragement! Thanks, Jennifer

  5. Glad to have you join us Jennifer!
I was walking 2-3 miles a day several times a week earlier in the summer...then it got hot! I would like to walk at least a mile or two everyday for21 days to make it a habit in my routine again.
Think of it as 3 weeks instead of 21 days - then it doesn't sound quite so bad! :-)

Count me in. I need this too. It's freezing here in the am, but I'll go in the afternoon's. I'm taking my son with me too. I'm afraid of the coyotes! :O
This is going to be fun!

  8. Mrs H., I just made your Sausage-Cheddar muffins for our breakfast and they were delicious. My husband really liked them. I was wondering if you have ever cooked, froze , and then reheated them? Just thinking these might be good for my hubby to take for his breakfast as he drives to work.

  9. I'll be walking with you too, Mrs. H! I usually take Daisy once in the morning and again at night, but I can use some encouragement to walk for longer in the mornings. :0)

  10. Mrs. H -

What a beautiful day we had here yesterday but as soon as that sun went down, it was cool!! A fall evening...so I made a dish of the pear crisp and we had a yummy treat while watching college football - hubby was so happy! Such a nice way to end the day. Thanks for a yummy recipe!

And, now I really need to walk tomorrow and make a new habit!! Looking forward to it.

    Jennifer

  11. Count me in! 1-3 miles, rain or shine, indoors or out, I'll be by your side (figuratively, of course). (I have a treadmill, so weather won't be a problem - laziness will however!)This is just the encouragement I need. Thanks!

  12. Am I too late to join you & start tomorrow? I've gotten completely out of the habit and am having trouble reestablishing it. Perhaps some accountability here might help me.

  13. Mama Hen -
I bet the sausage cheddar muffins would freeze well. (They didn't last long enough at my house for me to find out, though!) They reminded my family of sausage balls that we enjoy during the holidays - I think the muffins would be good with some rosemary added like in sausage balls. :-)

  19. Welcome Linda and Canadian-in-the-Country!

Canadian - you can walk whenever you want to (or any other kind of movement that you chose!) I will be walking at all different times and places! Each day of the week has a different schedule at my house. :-) My goal is to know when and where I am going to walk the next day before I go to bed. Having a plan is my best motivator.
