"The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong." ~ Laura Ingalls Wilder
It was almost like a dream all day yesterday. So much snow and so unexpectedly! Mr. H. and I have both lived here for over 26 years and we can only remember once in all that time that it snowed like this. Icing over and freezing rain, yes, but snow is extremely rare in our parts! :-)
Your kids must have enjoyed this. I hope you get some more for them to play in. I remember living in Houston and getting snow , how my brother and I would play till every bit melted away. :) Maybe you could have some for Christmas? :) Love Kerri
How fabulous! I love getting the rare snow here in Georgia.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
We didn't get any here in my part of Texas. ( Granbury, Hood County)
ReplyDeleteMy kids were very disappointed!!
How fun! Send some up here....we'd love some to play in!

I'm a little jealous. We don't get much snow in this part of TN either! It was actually a little warm today....no coats.
ReplyDeleteUp here in massachusetts, we get more than our fair share. Give me you address and I will send you some any time you like ;-)
