Show and Tell Friday

When Mr. H. surprised me over the weekend with my birthday present several weeks early, I just knew I had to share it for Show and Tell Friday! I was so excited over such an unexpected gift! Mr. H. really knows what I like, just look...

...brand new cookware! :-)

It is so pretty and I will enjoy using it so very, very much.
I can't wait to make Mr. H. lots of yummy meals using these very nice pieces -
the set includes everything I could ever need!

He also thought I needed a nice set of kitchen knives!

And when he saw these that were "labeled" ;-)
he knew they were the ones for me! Haha!

Thank you for letting me show and tell about my wonderful birthday present.
And thank you Mr. H. - you are too good to me. :-)

Please visit Kelli for more Show and Tell Friday!

  9. Oh, that is a wonderful gift! Some people don't like "house" gifts, but I do, because I am the one that uses them and they make jobs so much more fun and enjoyable! :) Do you mind if I ask what kind they are? I have been looking for a new set of pots and pans, but I do not know which ones to buy? Do you like these? Thanks, Kristy.

  16. Thank you to everyone for visiting my Show and Tell! My husband really researched and asked around before he picked out this cookware. It is the Calphalon brand Tri Ply Stainless 13 piece set. I don't know how much he paid for it (and I don't want to know!) but I can tell it is very good quality, very heavy, and I love the long handles. The knives are also Calphalon and he purchased both at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Thank you for the early happy birthday wishes, too! :-)

  17. Oh, I almost forgot Gattina's comment! Yes, ceekay I laughed, too. Especially that she said "eventual" burglers - Gattina, I sure hope you meant to say potential burglers! ;-) I am hoping not to have any kind of burglers!

Also, Kristy, you mentioned "house" gifts - it was funny when my husband was asking around about what type of pans to buy, he got a comment from someone questioning why he was planning to buy me cookware for my birthday! He just told that person that he obivously didn't know me very well! ;-) I am glad that my husband does. :-)
