"The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong." ~ Laura Ingalls Wilder
This brings back some fond memories of mine! I was fortunate enough to stay in the Old Faithful Inn---just like Teddy Roosevelt. We even drnk hot chocolate on the deck overlooking Old Faithful as it shot into the air. I hope you got to go in that place! But the God-made wonders are really even more amazing. :-)
Jenny, Yes, we went to the inn! Mr. H. had tried to get us reservations to stay a night, but they were all booked up the day we were to be there. The children had ice cream and Mr. H. had coffee sitting in the big chairs with a nice breeze blowing in. I'm so glad they were able to save the building during the '88 fire, such history there!
Lovely pictures, Mrs. H. Looks like a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures, especially the rainbow!
