Homegrown Tomatoes!


We're enjoying a bumper crop this year!


Nothing better or more summer-y
than fresh ripe tomatoes! 


What is your favorite way to enjoy farm fresh tomatoes?


Mine is simply sliced and salted!


Hint ~ never put a tomato in the fridge!
It steals the flavor. :-)

  1. They are beautiful! Are you making something specific with them or canning them or just eating them on salads? I just put my plants in last Saturday. It will be August before we see tomatoes :) I can't wait!

  2. Kerri I've made pasta sauce with them three times now and we eat them almost daily in salads or just by themselves. I would like to can some, and we've had a great crop, we just eat them too fast!! :-)
