For President's Day

~George Washington~
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force.
Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance,
they are the peoples' liberty's teeth.

~Thomas Jefferson~
A morsel of genuine history is a thing so rare as to be always valuable.

~James Madison~
I believe there are more instances of the abridgment
of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power
than by violent and sudden usurpations.

~Abraham Lincoln
~
America will never be destroyed from the outside.
If we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

How true these comments are...even today! Our forefathers were blessed with a godly wisdom that we are lacking in our government today.
