Summer Sub Sandwich


Summer Sub Sandwich
4 servings

1 loaf unsliced French bread
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
Dijon mustard
8 slices fully cooked ham
3 slices provolone cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/4 purple onion, thinly sliced
2 banana peppers, thinly sliced

Cut the loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread bottom half with cream cheese and Dijon mustard; layer with ham and provolone. Replace top. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove top; add lettuce, tomatoes, onion and peppers. Replace top. Cut into serving-size pieces. Fun!
