My birthday just happens to fall right before the
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo each year.
So naturally, tickets to the show have become a birthday present tradition. :-)
This year I was celebrating the big 4-0 and
my favorite band of all time was preforming on opening night of the rodeo!
ALABAMA!
I've seen Alabama in concert four times now...
each decade of my life. ;-)

Alabama is my favorite band, too! I have only got to see them in concert one time, but it was great! I didn't think they were still preforming ~ I hope I might still get to hear/see them again.

Thank you Lady Farmer! I was very surprised that they preformed at the rodeo, too. I saw them in 2003 on their "farewell tour" and figured it would bet the last time I would see them live. But, I guess they are doing special appearances. :-)
