Yummmmm! Just like my Grandma used to make! The only way to eat green beans!
have you ever looked into trying to photograph food for a magazine? you are really good at it.
Kristi - thank you! Coming from a photographer like you I really appreciate that. :-)
Mr. H. has mentioned that he thinks I should be a food stylist. I really like my food to look appealing as well as taste good. I think you eat with your eyes as well as your mouth! ;-)
I really need to learn about my camera, though. Maybe I'll find sometime this summer?! All my pics are straight out of the camera point and shoot. I totally frustrate Mr. H. He has been wanting to teach me about apature and F stops and he would love for me to use the tri pod and manual focus! But, I'm just a busy Mommy that uses natural light, auto focus, and strange body contortions to get the shot I want and then I'm movin' on to what else I need to do! ;-) haha
I have really enjoyed your picture taking!
Mrs. H,
I made these last night and they are so good! Thank you for sharing such delicious recipes with us and the wonderful photos :)

Sharon,
You are so welcome. Thank you so much for letting me know that you enjoyed them. A lot of my recipes are from magazines, friends, the internet, etc., but that one was my very own, so I really appreciate the positive feed back! Thanks! :-)
please tell how many lbs. of green beans you use for this recipe...sounds so good.
thank you.
How many pounds of green beans?
Do you use fresh green beans, frozen or canned? I'm thinking canned.
How can I sign up for your recipe blog?
Dee Dee I use fresh green beans for this recipe. You can follow my blog through blog lovin' or e-mail. Look on the right side bar. And thanks for wanting to follow my blog. :-)
How many pounds of green beans (estimate)?
I usually don't weigh the green beans so I'm not sure how many pounds of beans I use. I tend to just count them as I place them in the bag. Typically 10 beans per serving, so for this recipe I would guess about 60 beans. Hope this helps!
I have been making green beans similar to this for years. My husband says this is the only way to each green beans...lol I have never used brown sugar and have no idea how much of everything I use because I don't measure. It is nice to have an actual recipe so maybe I can get them to come out the same every time. Thank you very much.
