Love these "snow" luminaries.
I saw them last year at The Inspired Room

and enjoyed using them as table centerpieces.

This year I have also tucked a few in with the greenery and pinecones on the mantle.

~Simple Christmas Joys~ Day 8

Let's make some Christmas candy!

If you've never made homemade candies at Christmas,
here are two super easy recipes to try - there's nothing to it!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Candy

You'll need -
1 package of vanilla candy coating
12 ounces of peanut butter
1 package of milk chocolate chips

Melt candy coating in microwave; stir in peanut butter until smooth.  Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Melt chocolate chips and pour onto peanut butter.  Swirl with a knife and let sit until hardened.  Cut into pieces.  So easy and yummy!

Peppermint Bark

You will need -
1 package of vanilla candy coating
1 package of candy canes

Melt candy coating in microwave.  Place candy canes in a baggie and crush.  Stir half the candy cane bits into the candy coating.  Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  Sprinkle the rest of the candy cane bits on top.  Let sit until hardened.  Break into pieces.  What could be easier?  Enjoy!
