"The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong." ~ Laura Ingalls Wilder

Thanks!I am excited to share more pictures on December 15th - I'll be participating in BooMama's Christmas Tour of Homes for the first time this year! :-)
Kerri,The dishes are Nikko "Christmastime" pattern. My grandmother collected them and passed some of her collection on to me several years ago. She passed away two days after Christmas last year and they are very special to me because they were hers. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family very much and I like to think that I enjoy those same things because of her. :-)
Looks beautiful; very inspiring! :) LOVE the dishes, too!
