I am a christian, saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and member of the Lord's church. I am blessed to be a helpmeet, mother of two, and keeper of the home. I live on one dream-come-true acre with my husband of seventeen years, my daughter, my son, numerous barn cats, five chickens, two dogs, two show pigs and one pot belly pig! I schooled my children during their elementary years in our homeschool "Heritage Schoolhouse." :-) They are now in public intermediate school and public high school. I substitute teach occasionally for our local school district. I enjoy exploring all things domestic and celebrating the simple pleasures of life. I count my blessings every day and never take one day for granted. :-)
"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive - it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?" ~'Anne Shirley' Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
