California, here we come!

Mr. H. has to work in California this week
and the family is very excited to tag along!

On our first day,
we flew into John Wayne International Airport.
The Duke! :-)

We headed straight for our very first visit
to In N Out Burger.
Y-U-M-M-Y!!!

From LA we drove through Topanga Canyon

to Malibu!

We took a little stop there to stretch our legs
and enjoy the beautiful Zuma Beach at Malibu.

From there we headed up the gorgeous Pacific Coast Highway!

We stopped at Morro Bay.

And enjoyed some fresh seafood for supper.

Hey Mrs. H (I almost put your name!) did you know that I am from San Diego? So I've looked at your blog and hope youa are still there you need to visit the missions in San Diego and you need to eat dinner in both Sea Port Village & walk around and eat at Old Town San Diego. It's such a shame that it is not safe enough for you to go to Tiajuana because there was loads of fun down there. Also I think they still have a ferris wheel at OB or PB (sorry Ocean Beach or Pacific Beach) Have fun we are going in Novemeber! Love you hope to run into you soon girlie!

I'm so glad that you and the family got to go to California. I grew up in Southern California. Oh, In-N-Out Burger is my favorite ;) :) There are none of these awesome burger stands here in Oregon. Although lots of us are hoping they'll open one up soon. The closest one is in Redding, CA...better start saving my gas money :):)

Love the beach, too :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Kyle, I knew you were from CA, but didn't know what part. We didn't go to San Diego this trip - we landed in LA and drove up the PCH for Mr. H. to work in San Jose. When he was done we did some touring around that area. I'll look forward to hearing about your trip in November. :-)

Thank you Heather and Kerri - we did have a great time! I love In-N-Out. :-)
